When you're answering DMs at 11pm.
When you've bought the course, downloaded the PDF and tried the trend.
When you're posting and posting and still can't tell if any of it is working.
That's where I come in.
You started your business to do what you love, not to become a marketing expert, an influencer or a content creator. I started mine to help you market yours.
I'm for you if…
You're great at what you do and tired of doing marketing on the side. You run a med spa, a dental or vet practice, a therapy practice, a brewery, a design-build or tile firm, or something that doesn't fit a box. You see marketing as an investment with a measurable payoff, not an expense to squeeze.
I'm not for you if…
You want to control every post and learn every tactic yourself. (A course will make you happier.) Or you want someone to promise you'll go viral by Friday. I'd rather tell you that on a free call than three months in.
Marketing has a frat-bro problem.
Good marketing costs real money because it delivers real results. Somewhere along the way, a lot of the industry decided results were the only thing that mattered, and that it was fine to be cold, cagey and emotionally unintelligent with the people paying the bills.
I disagree. You deserve the kind of full-stack strategy big agencies charge five figures a month for, from someone who actually cares whether your business makes it.
How a Chicago actor ended up running your ads.
On stage, and behind it.
For more than a decade I worked in professional theatre as an actor and a director: performing at Steppenwolf, Lyric Opera of Chicago and the Broadway Playhouse, directing The Long Christmas Dinner at TUTA Theatre and countless productions for young audiences, with work at Nashville Children's Theatre and Orlando Shakespeare Theatre along the way. Acting taught me how to make a stranger feel something. Directing taught me how to run the production that gets them into the seats.

The ER.
I've also spent years as an educator, teaching CPR to emergency department nurses and doctors at Advocate. Teaching taught me to explain complicated things until they click. The ER taught me what a real emergency looks like. (It's never your Instagram.)

The agency.
Then I spent two and a half years at a marketing agency, helping 47 small-business clients with their digital marketing and overseeing a team that ran marketing for 12 more. That's where I learned the thing this whole business is built on: most owners think they want to learn marketing. What they really want is to understand just enough, and hand the work to someone who knows what they're doing.
The plant guy.
And I run my own small business, Uncommon Plant Guy. I've lived the two-jobs problem. I struggled for years before investing in the coaching and strategy that turned it around. UPG became my proving ground: the place I built a repeatable system that has since worked across business types, niches and markets, and helped dozens of other businesses grow.

I know what it costs to bet on your own business.
I'm an artist and a small-business owner. I know how scary it is to invest in something you can't see yet. That's exactly why I show you everything: the plan, the numbers, and what we'll do if they dip.
The rules I run on.

Clarity is kindness.
Short reports, clear KPIs, no jargon.
Data over drama.
Decisions are backed by your numbers, not by emotion or trends.
Blunt, never brutal.
I won't blow smoke. I also won't forget there's a person reading the report.
No emergencies, only guardrails.
We agree on plan B before we need it.
Small + devoted > big + detached.
Consistent leads over viral moments.
100% human-made.
Every piece of content and every visual I make for clients comes from a person, not an AI prompt.
I choose my clients.
If we're not a fit, I'll tell you, and I'll tell you why.
